Welcome to Cults Medical Group.

Throughout the past two years due to the pandemic the practice has provided an ‘on the day’ service to our patients, this has been necessary as on any given day we have had to deal with the unknown, such as fluctuations in covid19 cases, staff absence due to infection and isolation, or staff isolating whilst awaiting test results. We have experienced very high levels of patient contact and while some telephone appointments have been issued when appropriate; the majority of our patients have received face to face appointments during this time.

We are aware that whilst this service delivery model worked well for some it was difficult for others especially as restrictions began to ease. The doctors and every other member of the team have been working hard to deal with every issue as they arise on the same day.

Moving forward and having listened actively to patient feedback we will be returning to a pre-bookable appointment system from April. Only urgent matters will be allocated a same day appointment. Face to face appointments and telephone appointments (when suitable) will be available. Please answer any questions our Receptionists ask, they are specifically instructed by the Doctors to ask for information pertaining to your problem and be reassured that they are bound by the same confidentiality agreement as the clinical staff at the practice.

We will resume text messaging of appointment reminders, please do not rely on this and make sure you also take a note of your appointment date/time when booking. Please be aware that you need to arrive a few minutes before your allocated appointment time to allow for check in, if you are late you may need to reschedule your appointment.

With patient’s needs at the heart of everything we do, our website has been designed to make it easy for you to gain instant access to the information you need. As well as specific practice details such as opening hours and how to register, you’ll find a wealth of useful pages covering a wide range of health issues along with links to other relevant medical organisations.

Get Well, Keep Well

Of course we’re not just here for when you are unwell. Our team of healthcare professionals and back-up staff offer a number of clinics and services to promote good health and wellbeing whatever your medical condition.

We hope you enjoy having a look around the site. We offer the ability to order repeat prescriptions online and to book online appointments, please register with our Reception team to do this.  Whatever your thoughts, be sure to let us know via our feedback function. Comments and suggestions are always a great way of helping us continue to enhance the way we look after you.

The consulting rooms for the doctors and nurses are on the ground floor with good access for the disabled. We also have toilet facilities for the disabled.

Please contact Reception if your personal details change. It is very important that we hold up to date information regarding your name, address and contact details.

We have a text reminder service so please make sure we have an up to date mobile telephone number for you. This is a great service however it is not to be wholly relied on as means of remembering your appointment, please also take a written note to add to your calendar or diary. Please also be aware that relatives will not receive a text reminder when a dependant/child/parent has an appointment booked. If you are unable to attend an appointment please let us know as soon as possible so we may offer the appointment to another patient.
